- Poor Mary & Beyond the Flood invite you to come out to the Baker Park Bandshell in Frederick, MD on Sunday, October 25th from 2PM - 6PM for a benefit concert to support the Frederick Rescue Mission.
**Non-perishable food items and used clothing will be collected, as well as monetary donations**
The Frederick Rescue Mission has been serving Frederick city and the surrounding areas for over four decades. Established as a non-profit Christian ministry in 1964, we continue our mission to meet the needs of the homeless, needy, and chemical dependent citizens of our area. We offer a life recovery program by bringing the life changing love of Jesus Christ to hurting and broken people - restoring individuals and families to our community with hope and a future.

Join Shelby’s Soldiers, the Race for Hope & Beyond The Flood on the deck at WestWinds Golf Club for a Happy Hour fundraiser, Friday, June 12th at 7PM.
Throughout the night, we will raise funds in support of Shelby’s Soldiers and the Race for Hope DC to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure. “Shelby’s Soldiers” was formed in support of brain tumor survivor Shelby Sadler and the many other children and adults who have been affected by this disease.
“My name is Shelby Sadler. One and a half years ago, I was just a normal 9 year old kid until I was awakened one morning by a seizure and my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. It is only because of excellent doctors and the NIH, that I am here today. I have been through a lot to get to this point but know that it will never be completely over since I’ll have to be monitored the rest of my life. It is because of fundraisers like this advances in the treatment of brain tumors are finally being realized and I am in the fortunate group of people that can call themselves a cancer survivor.”
